Sustainable Fuels

Sustainable Fuels

We focus on future fuels that help protect the environment and contribute to the reduction of emissions, supporting the transition to cleaner, more sustainable energy solutions. As technology advances, the consumption and adoption of these fuels will continue to grow, driving long-term sustainability.

Hydrogen

Type of Fuel: Gas

Hydrogen is a green fuel because when we burn it, it only turns into water. To make hydrogen, we use electricity from carbon-free sources like the sun, wind, or nuclear power. Hydrogen is great for fuel, but it’s tricky because it doesn’t store a lot of energy, and moving or storing it takes a lot of effort and space.
Therefore, application of hydrogen is limited by stationary applications. For mobile application we need to make one step further to convert hydrogen to methanol.

Methanol

Type of Fuel: Liquid

Methanol is a liquid made from carbon, oxygen, and hydrogen. When it burns, it makes carbon dioxide (CO2) and water, just like many fuels. But methanol can still be sustainable if we use carbon captured from the air. This way, burning methanol doesn’t add extra CO2 to the atmosphere, but just return to atmosphere carbon taken for production of methanol.

Flare Gas & LPG

Type of Fuel: Gas
Associated petroleum gas comes from oil wells and gas stations. It’s a mix of gases that can’t be moved easily through pipes because they turn into liquids. Often, this gas gets burned without being used, which is wasteful. But, if we burn it in our generating sets, it can be good for the environment because it stops waste and can replace other fuels.

Bio Gas and Land Fill

Type of Fuel: Gas

Biogas comes from tiny organisms that break down waste like food scraps or animal poop in landfills and farms. Biogas mainly contains methane and CO2. Using biogas as fuel is good for the environment because methane, the main gas in biogas, is much worse for the planet than CO2. Burning biogas also means we don’t need to burn other fuels that pollute the air.
